We love children at Prospect!
At Prospect, children's are valued for not only what they can become, but also who they are. The Bible states that children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3), and we treat every child accordingly.
We strive to give every child an opportunity to learn and grow in a safe environment that is appropriate for their age.
Nursery
We provide two nurseries during our Sunday morning worship services. One nursery is for children that are infants to two years old. We also provide a toddler nursery for children up to four years old. At other times, we will keep children together.
The volunteers that serve in our nurseries are experienced and loving people that will care for your children as if they were their own.
Sunday School
We use D6 Curriculum for our Sunday School classes. Our Sunday School is divided based on the age of the student. D6 is a curriculum that is designed to give children and adults a common lesson at church, and tools for continued learning the rest of the week at home. Children's Church
On Sunday mornings while the adults worship in the sanctuary, children worship in our children’s ministry area. They sing songs, play games, do crafts, and learn lessons from the Bible. Our Children’s Church is for ages 4-12.
Wednesday Evenings
Our midweek gathering for children is a time for recharging and refocusing. During the school year, we use curriculum provided by Answers In Genesis. On Wednesdays, children and teens are divided, by age, and learn important truths from the Bible as well as valuable life lessons.
During the summer, we have a dedicated team of volunteers that teach children from various Bible-based curriculums.
